I’ve been coming to this shop since I moved to Dallas almost 3 years ago. I spent a long time looking for a reliable mechanic close to my apartment that wouldn’t rip me off and I found this place. Run by a woman, the daughter of the head mechanic, she takes care of her customers and has the respect she deserves of all the mechanics that work there. The only time I had an issue feeling validated and safe in their care, she immediately corrected it and has stood by her decision to protect her customers ever since. Even since moving to a different town/city, I make the 30 minute drive and plan to leave my car in their care because I have never had any less than an amazing experience with them. Trust them with your vehicle, trust them with your business. I’m a loyal customer and that will only end when I don’t have a vehicle to maintain anymore.

After discussing the a/c coolant leak (during which they did NOT talk down to me b/c I am female), they recharged it. The service was timely and not overcharged. Discussed a few other items and gave me options. Owners and employees are very knowledgeable and friendly.

We brought in our old van for spark plugs. They found that the spark plugs were in terrible shape and that the could packs were also in disarray. They replaced both and we still came out paying less than some other shops quotes were for just the plugs. They showed us the old parts so we would know the work was actually done and to build trust. We were very satisfied with the service.

Today I've had the most unusual and pleasant experience when it comes to auto repairs. I came in to the NorthRich Automotive shop today asking to have a break and rotors replaced on my Honda Pilot due to minimum pad lining. I was advised to do that by another mechanic at a different shop whom I did not really trust. I received a call from NorthRich one hour later explaining that my breaks are still at half-life and replacement is not needed for at least another year. The only thing I needed to do to keep my car in good shape was to have an oil change. I was extremely impressed by the integrity and work ethic of the staff at NorthRich who just turned down a $1000 job which was unnecessary to the customer. Very a few businesses in this line work would do the same. I have had many repairs done at NorthRich for several vehicles over the last twenty years and the quality of workmanship is always outstanding. They always communicate various repair options, provide their estimates, and keep one updated on the status of repairs. Iv been to this place twice so far and both times my experience was amazing. I moved to Texas back in august and I am so grateful this was the first place I found when I needed my car repaired in September. I wrecked my car very stupidly the first day I got it back and needed it repaired asap so I could work. They got my car in the very next day and they told me exactly what needed to be done and sent me a list that broke down the whole cost. My dad is a huge car guy and helped me figure out if it was a legitimate price instead of overpriced and he called around to make sure I was getting what I needed. Needless to say I had them repair everything and my car drove like brand new. Once again I needed a repair last week. I took my car in to get checked after I heard some very sketchy noises coming from my tires and within the same day they diagnosed the problem, sent me a list of prices and I got my car back the very next morning. They’re always so welcoming when I go in and I never felt judged or haggled, it’s also a huge plus that one of the shop owners is a women because I felt like I could trust her opinions ( no offense to any guys, iv just had experience with men trying to take advantage of the fact that I don’t know much) I almost never leave reviews cause I don’t care too much to take the time to write one but they definitely deserve a review from me and I will be going to them for help from now on since I don’t have my dad nearby anymore 😂
